How does it work?

Ateljee Muze is a warm, welcoming place where ceramics are all about practicing, exploring, and having fun. You don’t need to be a perfect potter here: beautiful pieces are created through doing, again and again. The studio provides a calm, safe environment to experiment, make mistakes, and improve as you go. Some basic experience with ceramics is required, so you can work independently

We work with class passes for 3-hour ceramic sessions. After purchasing your pass, you can easily book a time slot through the website for the studio in Maastricht

During each session, you have access to a well-equipped ceramics studio where you can independently throw, sculpt and glaze. No lessons are given, but there is always someone present to answer questions or offer practical tips. The studio is run by me, Jet Theunissen, the daughter of a potter. Knowledge, experience, and a love for the craft are always close at hand and gladly shared.

For extra inspiration, a “Challenge of the Week” is displayed in the studio each week. A small creative challenge to spark your imagination, try something new, and never run out of ideas challenge of the week in het atelier. Book a single session

The studio also offers single sessions, which can be booked individually through our “Book a Single Session” page. With a single session, you can use the open ceramics studio for one visit or simply drop by for a cup of coffee. This is ideal if you want to see whether Ateljee Muze is the right studio for you. Basic experience with ceramics is required for this session as well.

1 – Choose a class pass

Go to the Class Passes page, select the pass with the desired number of sessions, and complete your purchase directly through the online shop. After payment, you will receive your account login details by email. Once your class pass is activated, you can easily schedule sessions and use your credit.

2-Plan a session

Log in to your account and go to the “Schedule Class Pass” section to view your credits and book sessions at a time that suits you. In “My Account,” you can view and manage your class pass and remaining credits.

3-Use the studio

Use the ceramics studio during your chosen time slot and enjoy!

What’s included in your class pass?

Each class pass offers the following benefits:

  • Clay included:Use of clay is included in your session.

  • Use of tools:Access to all tools available in the studio is included

  • Validity:The class pass is valid for 6 months, giving you plenty of time to complete your projects.

  • Excludes glazing and firing: Glazing and firing are not included, but they are available at Ateljee Muze for an additional €10 per kilo.

Important information about the sessions

  • Duration: Each session lasts 3 hours, including 15 minutes for final cleaning, so the next person can start immediately.

  • Use of clay and tools:Clay and tools must be used in the studio and cannot be taken home . If you wish to take clay home, it will be charged at the market price per kilo
  • (Basic) experience required:Some experience with clay is required, no lessons are provided during these sessions. 
  • Personal use:  Class passes are personal and cannot be shared with others
